On October 26th, on the terrace of Hotel Habita Polanco in Mexico City was carried out a cocktail party to celebrate the launching of the latest edition of TecnoAlimentos Expo, forum which focuses on product innovation as well and all the manufacturing processes in Mexico and Latinamerica. This important event will be held from 7 to 9 of August at the World Tade Center in Mexico City.

The purpose of TecnoAlimentos Expo is to facilitating the trade and commercial exchange between the food industry’s professionals in one same spot showing the best that industry has to offer in technology, quality and innovation process.

The presentation was chaired by CEO Elsa Ramírez Zamorano, General Director of Alfa Promoeventos, who gave a brief and emotional speech of welcome to the executives of more than 60 companies that, gathered to ensure their participation in the exhibition industry.
The challenge, target and original cause to scientific, technological, economic, social and personal achievements, is the central topic in TecnoAlimentos Expo 2012: “The challenge for 2012 is global; there is no doubt, is certainly a challenge that restricts, among other aspects, the growth and development of the enterprises, including food industry”, said Gerardo Muñoz, General Director of the Expo .

“For TecnoAlimentos Expo 2012, the challenge today is to make the most  successful business meeting in the  food sector, with  the presence of  much many food manufacturers and organizers of our history, surpassing everything done before and making available to them,- the manufacturers- the best and most comprehensive range of supplies ever assembled in one place. That´s our challenge”, he said.

CEO Muñoz said that to achieve the goals of the next edition of TecnoAlimentos, “the way is to innovate in form and substance to present the expo and the parallel events”.

In our next edition we will have a Seminar about Sensory Evaluation and Flavor; witch is theoretical and practical, with all the advantages this brings in, and the Seminar about Health and Welfare in the Food Industry, a very topical dealing prevention through proper nutrition, which is achieved with products with added vitamins, tonics, diabetic products, cosmeceuticals, and so on, that gives the opportunity to the food and beverage manufactures to innovate and creatre new products for their market.

Both seminars have the participation of key suppliers and internationally renowned speakers from industry and academia.

Also, we will have the Business Cycle Technical Conference, which will take place within the exhibition area, which now have a larger surface area; this will allow attendees to TecnoAlimentos Expo 2012 to find the offer of more than 200 companies that will have a lot of diversity in alternatives for the manufacture and innovation of food beverages.
